There can be no university reform without a change of management

The only people ignoring the urgent need for major university reform are the people that are running them.

This week under the blessed conditions of parliamentary privilege, a respected demographer who was an elected representative to her university’s governing body, tearfully described her experiences to a Senate Inquiry into Quality of governance at Australian higher education providers.
