Message from the Vice-Chancellor

It is one year this week that I walked away from my university job amidst savage cuts. Now, dozens of institutions are imposing something similar. This post imagines it differently.

Dear Colleagues,

Higher education, like housing prices, is subject to cyclical fortunes. We seem to be entering a down phase, now. That is the bad news, which we all knew would come one day.
